Who Is dick schulz

Whats to tell,I grew up in southwest

Minnesota. My dad and one brother

drowned when I was four. I started

hanging around a race shop that also

repaired guns along with most anything

else that could break down. I learned

much of what I would carry into my adult life there. While in high school I was in the photography

club and took all the Annual pictures on a Land Graphic.

I got myself kicked out of there for taking pictures at a

pajama party and went to work for the photographer the

school hired to finish the Annual. I kind of learned to work

the system from all this plus learned the value of always

backing up, as they confiscated all my negatives. From school I went to France with the army, got out and started

a sporting goods store, went broke and got a job drilling

wells. I broke my back on a snowmobile and went to work

as a line mechanic in a Ford garage. I did that for a while

and was made Service Manager. I did that at three different

dealerships, got burned out on new cars and found a job driving truck for Georgia Pacific. After 29 years of that I

got to retire back into photography.

    I raced cars for 20 years+motorcycles & boats & snow-

mobiles at different times. I boxed(gloves),played football,

and hunt. I was in an army marksmanship unit shooting

pistol and currently coach 4H shooting sports. I do gun

shows, collect guns, and restore some antiques. I have a

very good eye for composition and am a people person

therefore you should hire me for your next shoot.
